In 2017 I’m running a sock club!
For those who aren’t familiar with sock clubs (or yarn subscriptions), you basically pay in advance for a number of skeins that are available exclusively through the club and they are sent out to you throughout the subscription period. The colours are kept secret – so it’s a huge surprise when they arrive.
My sock club is running from January to June next year and subscribers get a parcel of yarn and a pattern in January, March and May.
There is a Three Skein option for $133 (one skein per parcel), and a Six Skein option for $216 (two skeins per parcel) option. Prices include postage within Australia.
Three Skein club members can choose between girly and unisex colours and Six Skein members will get both.
Colours will match the season, but I don’t want to give away too much. Here are some hints to let you decide whether to choose the girly colours or the unisex/fellas colours.
Jan/Feb – Both colour options will be cool and summery with hand-painted highlights to contrast the base colour.
Mar/April – The girly colour option will be a fresh take on Autumn while the unisex/fellas option will be rich and moody. Both are inspired by a trip to the vineyard!
May/June – Time to knit winter socks – both colour options are all about being cosy and warm. Expect warm, multi-tonal colours to keep your feet toasty and snug.
Each parcel will also contain an original sock pattern and I’ll set up a group on Ravelry where members can share projects.
Subscriptions close on 13 December 2016, so if you are planning on dropping hints to Santa, start dropping them now!
