What Happened to Spring?

15/09/2016 · In: Hand Dyed Yarn

Here we are in September, the plum trees covered in blossoms and green shoots are everywhere. But there is also horizontal rain, threats of snow and a backyard full of very wet kangaroos.

Still, as it’s officially Spring I thought I’d dye up some Spring inspired yarn. This one is called September – but at the moment “wet marsupial brown” would probably be a more accurate representation of the season.

To be honest, I am more likely too wear the colours of a wet marsupial! Although they are not as flattering or exciting as your hand-dyed skeins.

Wet marsupial…. sounds like a challenge!
