The orphan posts of 2014

21/04/2015 · In: Vintage patterns

Last year was a bit mental so very little blogging was done, especially in the later part of the year.

This year is likely to be equally busy and stressful – but now I have a desk where my computer can be set up permanently which makes a huge difference.

Something that really fell over last year (apart from the frequency of updates) is following through on things I mentioned in one post and then failed to resolve in the next . There are a handful of these orphan posts. I’ve decided to get them sorted during what’s left of April and offer a bit of closure. (Or, you know, do what I said I’d do).

The first item of business stems from the 14 April 2014 Retro Monday post. (Oh dear – that’s just over a year ago!)

In this one I had a look at patterns for knitted bed jackets and offered a copy of the second pattern book pictured to a randomly drawn commenter.

So 12 months and one week later, the winner is…..Mim who blogs at Crinoline Robot. So be very afraid young lady, an early 80s pattern book of bed jackets will find its way to you shortly.

Phew! One orphan post taken care of. Only three more to go.

Hope you get a chance to make one – I’d love to see one made up.
