Rod’s Scarf

14/02/2011 · In: My knitting

I know – two posts in one day. It’s all a bit much – especially on a school night.

Basically I discovered that my phone takes better pictures than my camera does. Time for a new camera.

On my walk home from the train station I stuck my knitting in a tree and took a photo of it. Yes, I checked to see if there was anyone looking first. If you read two posts back you’ll know what I’m talking about – but I spent some time swatching on the weekend and have decided on a yarn and design for Rod’s scarf. I’ll finish it in a few days and put the pattern on Rav, but basically it’s a knit and purl combination welt in Patons Jet. I think he’ll really like it.

As a test to see if my phone really did take better pictures than my camera does, I stalked the neighbour’s garden and my cat. The cat’s name is Cobey and I have no idea what the garden plant is called. My phone takes MUCH better pictures than my camera.
