Today’s pattern leaflet is the incredibly stylish Patons Headliners.

I bought this one from a vintage shop in Bacchus Marsh after it was advertised on Instagram.

This is one of my favourite vintage patterns even though it’s from my least favourite decade of fashion. This is probably because the designs are from the 40’s, reprinted for the knitters of the 70’s.

The dolman sleeves, high waists with deep ribs and low necklines are classic early 40’s, but I can see why they appealed to 70’s tastes. The neat waists and fuller sleeves work well with high-waisted, flared pants, and the low necklines are spot on for 70’s style which sdfdfds
