The second Saturday of every June is World Wide Knit in Public Day!
Over the last week, my favourite yarn shops and knitting charities have been announcing their plans for the day. I’m disappointed that I have to attend a couple of boring appointments that cant be put off instead of getting my yarn out with like minded knitters.
Every day is knit in public day for me. Its always fun to catch up with and meet other knitters.

If you can, drop into an event and have a knit.
A lot of the WWKIP events support charities too. If the event you choose isn’t a charity event, maybe use WWKIP day as an opportunity to whip up a scarf or hat to donate anyway.
Any excuse to cast on a new project has to be good.
