Gratuitous Pictures of Soft, Squishy Things

01/08/2011 · In: Home and Away

A bit too tired to blog today. So here are some photos of things I’ve been enjoying looking at, patting and generally declaring undying love for over the weekend.

Cobey. The original Little Yellow Cat.

Softer than any yarn but not machine washable.

And here is my haul from the recent Quilt and Craft Fair in Melbourne. As I have no interest in quilting or scrapbooking, the range of things I could spend money on was limited. Still, I managed to part with a few hundred dollars for kimono silks, sock yarns from Stranded in Oz, Misty Alpaca and Schoppel Wolle, and lace weight yarn from Touch in NZ.

Now all I have to do is finish up that stupid brown jumper and I can play with my new toys (and of course the kitty).
