A week of peace

10/05/2011 · In: Home and Away, My knitting

I’ve taken a week off work to, well, basically not be at work. I don’t have any major plans for the week apart from some knitting and sewing. I just needed a week to unwind before I have to launch myself into all the joy that comes with working in a finance company at the end of financial year.

So today I decided to go out to lunch. I don’t normally take photos of my lunch but I finally got a new camera, so I’m taking pictures of everything while I get used to what all the buttons do.

So here is my lunch. Actually, it’s the cake I had after lunch, I don’t officially approve of cake as a meal. Unofficially I think cake is an excellent source of vital nutrients like sugar, icing and butter.

The sun made a very brief appearance – just enough for me to take some pictures of my Michelin scarves. It’s stil very overcast here and I might as well get used to it. It’s only May and Winter is officially three weeks away.
